evo 17x9 wheels on a gsx???

im looking into getting wheels soon for my 2g gsx....

does anyone know if 17x9 wheels that are currently on an evo would fit?

The 17x8's off the Evo 8 and 9 fit quite nicely. They'll fit a 245/40/17 tire.

The Evo X's have 18x8 or 8.5 or something like that.

well i know a friend with rota 17x9 and i was wondering if the width would be a problem... hes a bit far away so i would like to know before he took the trip...

It's not the width but the offset that's important.

Have you posted photos since you mounted those bad boys? You only have one front/rear shot w/out the tire in your profile. I bet they look "too much nice".

I'd rock a set of oem Evo X's...
17x9 +35mm offset will fit 255/40/17's on a 2gb.
2ga's will require a spacer due to differently designed rear knuckles.

Any wheel that is a 5x114.3 and has the right offset etc will fit.

Here you go. BTW. The car was at full droop for a week. So thats why it looks like it has fender gap. It doesnt. They sit pretty flush.

What brand rims and tires?
What size rims and tires?
What offset are the rims.
^^^ is all important information.
