I'm not saying that this car could be used as a daily driver, but if it could, I would LOVE to cruise this thing to work every day!

I was at the track with Mike when he made these runs. The track was prepped damn good and watching him run on regular street tires is just crazy. With him running a 9.3 i'm pretty sure if he stays on those tires he will hit 8's before the end of the summer. Then it's on to slicks. He went 8.96 about 4yrs ago on slicks with around 200-300 less whp than he has now.

He has Bridgestone Potenza RE-01 235/45 17". A regular everyday street tire. Not a drag radial.

That is incorrect. He does use the 2-step to launch.

damn sweet... JMS of san antonio just got their evo to break 9's, i believe it was 9.8x but i also believe it was on street radials, ALTHO they drove the evo to the track!!
