ever heard of or try this tranny fluid?

I was on another board and a bunch of guys were swearing by Royal Purple Syncromax.

I think right now I have BG in my tranny. I have used redline before but on this other board the guys say redline is bad because of some additive that causes a seal to swell. I guess this royal purple stuff does not have that additive.

Anyone used the royal purple syncromax in their tranny? How about in your engine they make motor oil too.

and what fluids do you guys use for diff and t-case? I think I have BG in there too.

oh and I did a search for "tranny fluid", didn't come up with much except a thread or two with some referance to BG in there somewhere.

Well, the guys are full of baloney. Call Redline and ask them.

There's hardly any bad tranny lubes. DSMs are very happy with Pennzoil Synchromesh, and it's cheap as all get out. I think once you've moved to BG, nothing else will feel any better, but of course -such as with Royal Purple- you can spend a lot more.

I'd bet you'd find the Pennzoil to be just fine.
