General Evap Canister

I haven't found this info yet, but I'm looking for a new evap canister for my spyder. I've looked on jnztuning and rock auto and haven't found one. On jnztuning, they only have one available for RS and GS models, but the in diagram they show, it looks just like the turbo model canister. Are they the same parts?

i know on 95 GSTs, the evap canister was underneath the battery. i have two infront of me now. they are made by GM, part #17087023JH and they are round.
im assuming that 96 uses the same ones.

i just did some research

the 97 service manual still shows the round canister

in the 98 service manual it changes. the canister itself looks the same on the 420a and 4g63 FWD but it just a drawing. i don't think your gonna be able to use the 420a one on your car. Ill see if i can match part # on CAPS if you want.

the one on jnztuning looks to have 3 ports on the top, yours has 2 correct?
i looked up the evap canister for a 1997 gst spyder and got part# MR126604

Correct, mine has 2 ports on top. Thank you for this info, it'll be quite helpful.
