when i was changing the fuel filter at work the other day, i removed my evap canister to have easier access to the filter from the bottom. The problem is that one of the nipples on it did not have a hose or anything in it. i took a picture of it, it is the one on the top. do you guys know where to hook it up to? thanks

I used these last week hooking up my vacuum lines to pass emissions, hopefully they can help you too. The second nipple on the charcoal canister, not shown in the diagrams, goes directly to the intake post filter.

I'm trying to figure out how to install my evap canister, and hook up the vac lines to pass emissions, and that diagram almost helps me, but doesn't quite, I don't seem to have a purge control valve at all(nothing with 4 ports) I have the below setup, if you can point me to where anything goes it would be a great help...
The one I circled in purple goes to the fuel line, managed to figure that much out at least...

On a side note, I suspect the green one might not go to anything, but unsure.

Got emissions in Pennsylvania? If not delete it and block off the egr. If you do then route the loose vacuum hoses under where the battery and intake manifold are.

to pass emissions

Believe me I want to remove the damn thing, its clutter, weight, potential boost leaks and generally useless for anything other than an emissions sticker..
In fact I had removed it, but it threw a damn CEL. Luckily I managed to find my service manual(forgot I had one) and figure it out, though apparently my control valve has a broken nipple. Which is partly why I was lost..

Actually I'm still not quite sure whether yellow or green goes to the intake pipe in front of turbocharger, and for that matter would leaving either set a CEL, because that port on my intake pipe is currently in use by my catch can setup...
