EURO emission class

As you guys know the emission class is different from Europe to US...and because in Europe was imported only the non-turbo model i have problems with registering my Gsx. The things are like this...the non turbo model with 4g63 engine is an Euro2 car....but mine because is a turbo model and never been imported to Europe is a NonEuro pollution car...this means much more taxes to pay. I want to know if is anything to do to solve this problem...because i have an option to pay to have a test...so they can see what emission class my car is fitting in.

You may be able to run a high ethanol (E85) fuel in it, tune it, and get it to output lower emissions.

Do you know what kind of tests they are going to do? I believe they do the tail pipe test, other than that I'm not sure if they require a EGR or a different type of system.

Like he said though running part E85 works. A common thing people do in California to cheat the system is to run E85/premium. Like a 50/50 mix, but your car won't run right so you have to avoid boost.

I don't know how is in others EU countrys but in mine all the cars made for US market only that are imported from US in Europe have to be tested to get the emission class. Since my eclipse doesn't have an factory emission certificate with European regulations i have to do this test. In theory what emissions the car will have at the test...that class of emission will be written in the car documents...and then i have to pay taxes for registering the car(get plates). For Euro0 like is now i have to pay 8000 E...if is Euro2 i have to pay 2600E...and if is Euro3 1000E, Euro4 500E. So as you can see is a big difference between Euro0(non-euro) and Euro4...and the car supposed to be a Euro2 car...funny thing is that the eclipse from 1990-1994 is an Euro2 car and also the one form 1995-1999 both of them without turbo.
So to registering my Eclipse i have to get this test that i think it will be a tail pipe test where they measure the gases...and then they give you the emission class like in the picture. I was wandering if is any possibility to improve my emission class. I was thinking at one point to change my engine with a Evo one...but i found out it will not fit because is rotated with 180 degrees. This idea with E85 can be a good one...specially because i'm building my car right now so it can run E85...the problem is that E85 is a little bit hard to find in Europe...and in my country we don't have it yet. Any other ideas? Thanks!

What's the difference between the Eclipse engine and the Evo one...except after evo3 is rotated to 180 degrees and after 2006 got MIVEC technology.
