just did the weekend long starter class of EFI 101. the instructor was Brian Macy and he seemed very experienced. the seminar was held at the Kazien Speed headquarters right here in Tri Cities. it was a good experience, ill be honest and say alot of it was like "duh". I did learn alot though.
im thankfull my boss paid for this experience (as it was $500) but i did get to see the pro tuner do actuall on the dyno examples, see his personal maps he's built off of his personal laptop, and have a huge questions and awnsers session.
im thinkin me and my buddy from work (he went with me too and drives a Audi A4 direct injected turbo) are gonna be able to talk are boss into sending us to the more advanced class and really learn some magic
nothing beats hands on doin it your self. the MOST i have learned so far has been from my best friend Alex aka BoostDriven. he has hands down tought me the most. but this was deffinatley a good class. its totally awsome because alex and i have a open inventation from monty the auto instructor at the big college here to come rip on the new mustang dyno agin. WAY lookin forward to this up coming dyno day and i'll be rockin a top secret HX52 configuration!
anyone else have anything to say about this class or ask questions about? for $500 they did send us home with this ultra super good information book of ALL the formulas to figure out ANYTHING! in this book it explains it all.
im thinking of running each individual page through a scan/copier save each image in computer, and upload the whole book to share the secret formulas to everyone here. tell me what you think?

I have been reluctant to go because they went over almost the whole course with me. Formulas are good stuff, but are part of what you pay for.
