Hey everyone, I need some help.

I recently ran into some problems with my car. I keep getting a CEL, P0505. I figure out by process of elimination that it has to be my ISC, cuz I pretty much check everything else, ie vacuum leaks, biss screw, tps, fiav, throttle cable. I even tested the ISC on my car and the coils all were around ~33 ohms. Unfortunately, I have the rare case of a ISC testing out perfectly, but I'm still getting having ISC problems; my RPM's drop when I turn on my AC. :(

In any case, I go on ebay and purchase another ISC (a revised black version which I hear is less prone to go bad) The auction clearly stated that it was tested and it worked on the seller's vehicle. I received the ISC yesterday and tested it, and the coils all test at ~40 ohms. WTF The seller claims this is due to the ambient temperature, but what's important is that is it consistently the same ohm value. Is this true? From all the research I've done, I am highly doubtful that this piece is good, but I'm not 100% sure, since it's the newer revised black version.

Please help.

my car too every couple of weeks throws me a p0505 CEL, the last time i got the CEL was becuase the connector was very loose and didnt "click" when you pluged it onto the ISC (worn out from swapping in and out Throttle bodies) , check that first it could save you a lot
