Erratic MAS reading with Innovate logger

I have a one g mas on a Starion. I am seeing erractic hz readings on my innovate motorsports logger. I am new to logging and am not sure what is normal. The injector duty cycle does track the bigger and wider hz swings. It is a little hard to see that as the duty cycle lags a fraction of a second behind the hz changes.

I am seeing as much as 2200 hz but the problem starts much sooner. I can feel some surging from the car as well. How does a mas act when it maxes out.

I tried a stock Starion mas and it was even worse

I switched to a 2g maf. The really big oscillations are gone and the car runs much better. Clearly i am flowing more air than the 1g could meter.

That said i am still seeing 300-400 hz swings in the logs. Dose the signal really fluctuate that much?
