ERL Manifold Dissapointing!

This manifold has been the choice of many dsmers for many reasons. To state a few it look like a stock piece, it is cast stainless steel and last but not least it position the wastegate on top on the manifold. And for all these reasons I purchased one for my setup. First off when the manifold arrived I knotice that the flange didn't have as much material to seal the gasket gasket to the head on the bottom side and for this reason there was some sealing issues on the bottom side of the gasket. I will post pics of this later. The manifold came with a lifetime warranty against cracks but there is a condition to the warranty. If you chose to weld a 38mm or 44mm wastegate flange onto the manifold it voids the warranty good to know after the fact right, wrong horrible to know this after the fact!. Especially when a welding option is offered if the split collar is not part of the purchase. Okay compared to the ramhorn the manifold was a bit sluggish in the lower rpm spool was more noticeable in the upper Rpm range very surprising to say the least. I ended up after much dissapointment and frustration with the issues associated with this manifold just putting the sus321 Obx ramhorn back on the car and dynoed 573whp with the ramhorn compared to the 523 whp with the ERL manifold. Bad investment to say the least. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7MJ3XBcS6w&feature=youtube_gdata_player

For what it's worth, if you're having gasket sealing issues you should use a FelPro MS95470 over the MLS option. I've been using this gasket for years and never had one leak. It's the same one Dave used to go 9.67 with an ERL manifold.

Well after tossing the erl into the trash I , after someone stole the freshly ceramic coated ram horn off the back of my truck, pull the erl out of the trash and put it back on. But here is a further update after a very short time period.
