I have 3 options. So my original plan was to

1) just drop my tranny and get IPT torque converter, end clutches and shift kit. Parts would be about 700 plus shipping. But now I don't known if it will need more than that. has a real hard time shift (way late) slips when downshifting. No overdrive, and then today I noticed it was leaking tranny fluid. (think its coming from the dipstick area because of intercooler piping, but still).

2) Then someone referred me to english racing and I was looking on their site. Says trans rebuilds starting at $900 don't know what all that includes I'll have to give them a call tomorrow.

3)And then I cam across a used trans with 98K on it with torque converter for 500. And I was thinking I could go with that and put IPT torque converter, end clutches and shift kit and the total would be about 1200.
Opinions? what do you think would be the best bet?
