Engine won't start

Just changed the engine out on my 92 *laser. Car started up and ran great around the yard.

Now I can't get it to start. Normally, my boost guage come's off of -7 and goes to *0 when I turn the key on. *now it just stays on -7 and engine won't start. Any ideas*////

Have you checked your ECU?

checking that out now. Got a 90 Talon I'm using as a parts car.

I think it may be the ecu, but I do know that a 1990 ecu will not make the tach gauge work in something like 1991 and up. Correct me if I am wrong.

Problem solved, had to replace some caps in the ecu. Thanks for the help.
