Engine swap

I was wondering if I can put a 4G63T engine into my 95 ESi Talon. I have found one on ebay for about 1500 for it. Can I put this in so I can make it into a Tsi than a ESi?

If you only knew how much work and how expensive this swap would be, you would just sell your car and get a DSM that already has a 4G63 in it and come out of it a few thousand dollars and many hours ahead.

Motor mounts between 420a and 4g63 aren't the same

420 has the engine on the pas. side and 4g63 has it on the driver side. (Opposite)

Evo engine would be an easier swap then the 4g63. Use the 420a as a reliable car and get yourself a turbo car.

Let me predict the future:

Everyone with some kind of DSM knowledge will tell you to just get a TSI/GSX instead, then a few will give you nice little pointers on how to achieve this goal, and others will simply tell you that everything is possible if you have the money.

Then you'll realize it's not a viable way to build a car... and the thread will die.

There are a few options buy IMO doing a 4g63 swap out of another DSM is not worth the time or money. From what I've read the EVO motor bolts damn near straight in but requires alot of wiring. You can boost the 420a, or find a 2.4 (from a stratus I believe) and swap that in. You can even use the internals from a SRT 4 for the 2.4. There's a few options to look into. I'm sure there's more that I don't know about. Enjoy!
