Engine Swap

Hey everyone I'm new to this site and had a couple questions about an engine swap I am looking to do. I have a 98 Nissan 200sx se at the moment and am saving for a dsm but while waiting I found a 4G63T from a 92 eclipse that needs rebuilding. Once rebuilt I am looking to put it in my car, and I was wondering if anyone had seen this swap done before? Will the stock trans work with this engine? Thoughts? Thanks alot

no, the ga16de's transmission will not bolt up to the 4g63t motor. you would need to swap the transmission, drive shafts, etc. from the eclipse, at which point you would have more money into the car than if you just bought an eclipse to begin with. hope this helps.
