am going to swap a 2.ol out of a 92 eclispe into my 93 laser. what should i be aware of and what problems may i run into. 2.0l eclispe was an auto and laser is 5sp.

Could.. If the '92 is an early build (check the manufacture date that is posted in the sticker mounted on the driver's door "C" pillar), it will be a 6 bolt motor which will have some slight differences.


But, if the '92 is a late build, (after July) then you got a 7 bolt motor to match your '93.
