engine rebuild with evo

I am in the process of rebuilding my engine. I just want it to be a realible eninge I am not looking to make huge power just 350 hp or so. I was considering going with evo 8 pistons and rods. I'm not sure what other evo parts fit the 7 bolt block. thanks

I have them. Evo 9 rods and pistons. They fit fine. Imalso trying to get as close as possible to 350. Im sure they can handle that though. Evos have hit way more than that on a stock block so im not tooo worried haha I just nees cams and i should be pretty close

They lower your compression. There's a thread on here somewhere about it, but because evo's have a higher cc head than 2g's it brings your compression down to around 8.3:1.

Is this for a 7 bolt block only or do 6 bolts accept these pistons also?

Not sure, my last motor in my evo 3 was running evo 9 pistons and rods. The later 9's have THE best pistons to go for.
My compression didnt change at all. Was 9-1
I was running a strong 350 on mine just fine, very good upgrade to do
