Engine Pics, what do you think? *** PICS***

I like the color of the entire setup. However, my only concern is, if indeed you have chosen to make this a street car, you are sacrifising alot by putting all the potential into a car that will smash up like a tin can.

Do you have any reinforcements inside the car? or in the engine bay?

that is awesome. that motor is sexy! the car obviously isnt going for looks so to have such a sexy motor waiting under that hood is sweet. youll be heading down to the strip and some (enter v8 or boosted civic here) will hear your exhaust and rev his engine and laugh, then youll to a 4th gear pull just barely getting the boost going, theyll have geared down and pull on you until the boost hits then bam youll blow by them like nothing. damn 700 hp in a fwd.

keep us updated, i love hearing about our motor going into a car that is at a proper weight, dont get me wrong i love dsms, but they are a bit portly...

:rocks:

I spent forever finding a CLEAN na shell because I wanted the car to be light, which the NA over the turbo version is much lighter, as for keeping the car RIGID, it has a cage and will be good to 9.90's... The car is FWD and will stay FWD, alot less Shit to break that way... Its spaced a half inch out and running some MT's up front on a custom set of traction bars... It will hook just fine

Nice set up. I hope the traction is as easy to get as you think it will be. Ive seen colts with over 400whp not even get under 13's

How did you paint the turbo is it powder coated?
Really nice looking set up hope to see what kinda numbers you pull with a fwd.

the turbo is in fact powder coated :) and has turned out quite well... I would really like to see the car run a 9.90
Andrew.

Been sitting a couple months but here are some pics of the platform the motor is going in...

No doubt a great sleeper I wish I could do a colt up like this. I might have missed it but don't the 4g63t and the colt have a diffrent style tranny hydralic to cable. How do you get around that?

Wow I was expecting some douche to have spray painted a few pieces in his bay but that actually looks real good. I like the purple/wrinkle black but now you should paint the car black. That would be awesome.

thats frickin sweet! i dont think spool times will be an issue. once you build enough boost to break the tires loose (since its fwd) you will have infini-boost.
