Crossville,
ok about 2 weeks ago i installed a complete upper dejon tools intercooler pipe and Type S BOV and got all the kinks worked out of that and it ran fine. well i took a sort of long trip for the first time with that stuff on and everything was fine and i when i got back i was planning on going to the drag strip to run. but i wanted to loosen the screw on the Type S to see if it would help anything cause the car seemed hesitant when it was at WOT. but that did nothing and now it is worse. i've put on all the stock piping and BOV and the car doesn't idle right now. it will idle fine for about 5 sec. and then start losing it and then it will idle right again. and when i drive it there is a strong vibration at lower RPM's and not alot of power at higher ones. it's that feeling where if you were in 4th gear going 20 or something like that. anyone have any idea on what it might be? my neighbor who used to work on cop cars said i had a vacum leak. any other ideas?

You probably have a big boost leak somewhere. My guess is that you didn't tighten the intercooler pipes enough. Build a boost leak tester via vfaq instructions and see what happens. Do you have a vaccume gauge in your car? If so, what does it read?

i tried to build the tester but i don't have the right size drill bits to drill the hole and make the valve fit. can you buy individual drill bits? and if so what size? and the boost gauge seems like it's reading a little low like at 10 or something and it's usually more around 20.
