Hey everyone. Ok so i was up in iowa (from Kansas City) and I was doing a bit of speeding LOL like everyone but i went quiet fast majority of the time. When i got to my destination i noticed my car wasnt as powerful. like it lost power instantly. Then heard a knocking noise just slight. Then it got louder and louder. Yes you shouldnt drive but i tried babying it back to KC to get it to my garage. Ended up lockin up just north of Saint Joe. But Anyways no rod went threw the block. pulled the valve cover off and everything looked GREAT! idk what it would be or if anyone knows what problem this is and maybe it happened to one of you before! Let me know please. Im a newbie. Use to muscel cars and older cars. These DSM are very new to me. But since i got my eclipse Ive loved it dont think i ever wanna get rid of it.

Valve cover won't show anything. You will need to drop the pan and check for shavings and check the rods/pistons/crank for play, especially if you mind metal in the oil pan.
