I have a 95 eagle talon tsi im having the problem that when its running the engine shuts off while running and when trying to turn on bak again the car will crank and crank and wount start for a while it happens atleast once a day please help!!!

FPR? Sorry but im kinda new with some of the things I will try to post the pictures of the fuel injectors tomorrow also I just noticed 2 of the injectors are a bit loose like they do.t wobble but their not thightened :/

If you're doing a boost leak test, you might as well just test before the MAF too. Our symptoms just seem too eerily close not too be related somehow.

FPR (Fuel Pressure Regulator).

The stock pressure regulator will not work with the pump, You need an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator.

Check this out.
If you still have the stock fpr, It will looks exactly like the one right here, It is the one at the end of the fuel rail.

If you have an aftermarket one, it will look different, could be some like these.

Regarding the Injectors, as far there is no boost leak and fuel leaks, then you are OK.

A boost leak or old spark plugs isn't going to cause a intermittent no start problem. It is either loosing fuel or spark. Check for fuel and spark when it won't start.

Ah this sucks I cant post pictures with this phone on the conversation :/ but I do have the stock fuel rail im still not sure if the car has the 225 walboro fuel pump havent cheked but supposely it does and it is loud

The stock regulator will work just fine, it will just cause the car to run a little rich at idle and low throttle cruising. It isn't going to cause the car to not start or anything like that.

no, I'm saying don't check the temp gauge for the gauge cluster. check the temp gauge for the ecu. its a two wire plug on the thermostat housing.

Just curious but i thought the walboro pumps are supposed to be quiet.... Possible sending unit is on its way out???

Worst problem just came up on the car radiator pump popped middle of the road I fixed it and put new thermostat and turn on the car white smoke coming out of the exhaust engine shakes and now I believe the heads have water in them I checked the oil dipstick its a little brown with water :/

Sounds like you over heated and popped the head gasket. That is one of two places for for oil and water to meet. The other is the water cooled oil filter housing. Also does your exhaust have a sweet smell too it? If so definitely head gasket.

Yeah it does have a sweet smell I was going 60 when I noticed the smoke and sweet smell and pulled over and noticed my hose was poped replaced it and the thermostat and it got worse with the white smoke out of the exhaust and it does smell sweet :/

if you had coolent in your oil it would be like a milky color almost like coffe with way too much creamer or milk depends on how ## engine likes it :sneaky: . but yea unless you ran nothing but water in your rad which would not be good because it doesn't have as good as cooling properties as when its mixed... you might wanna check that out... but yea if your car is blowing white smoke thats definitely either a head gasket or turbo..
