how much boost can a stock 1998 gsx engine take before detonation im currently using the dsm link and i want to up the boost but i dont want to blow up my engine.....

You have dsmlink and dont know how to use it? Give it to me and turn the boost down. THere is no magic number that you can run and then knock. It depends on too many things. You have one of the best tuning tools for a dsm in dsmlink. Make sure the motor is up to par, monitor the knock count and turn up the boost. Update your mods list it would help also. You scare me too.WTF
