Ok guys I know this doesnt make sense and this is why I'm asking the pros. My 95 gs-t is starting to smoke only when hitting the brakes and coming to a stop. I can idle the car for 15 minutes and then rev it... and it won't smoke.. I can boost all day and will not smoke.. but when I come to a stop light it will fumigate the cars around me for about a second or two and then clear up.. its nuts... if i ease up to the light.. it wont smoke.. any ideas?

valve stem seals are new
engine doesnt miss still feels strong. doesnt overheat.
replaced PCV valve just for the hell of it.

engine setup
stock internals(rebuilt topend Jan of this year), stock turbo at 130,000 miles, 3inch turbo back apexi N1, Extreme Moto MBC @ 15psi.

This might have something to do with it. I noticed when i got my oil changed recently, it was slightly overfilled.

Thanks in advance

George C

George there is no reason for this to happen your engine doesnt know when you are breaking??WTF
Most likley its your 130k turbo oil seals/ thrust bearings leaking. Get a used 16 or a B16g insted of rebuilding it its not worth it and its problably has a cracked exhaust housing. You wont see a leak on the outside they leak from the inside to the exhaust.

Yes over filling the oil will cause this to happen also. Keep an eye on your oil level you are in need of a new turbo at 75k anyway no matter what oil you use the seals just deteriate from the high heat.

Thanks guys! I have two dsms that I'm modding at the same time.. (ouch) I just bought a used JDM 6Bolt with the ecu for 1200 for my gsx and I think I will use the 14b from it. Just need me a 2g install kit and should be good to go. ::rubs hands:: Maybe I've been missing out on some serious power all along with a bum turbo... hmm :)

hmm i was just thinking.. if the seals were bad on the turbo... would there be oil in the intercooler pipes? I need to check that. That would tell me if im passing oil.

thanks a million and greetings from south texas.

10 miles from the border of mexico.
