Hi everyone. Just got my motor out, wires and cleaning up my engine bay to paint. I plan to relocate the battery, fuse box, and do a wire tuck. Just wanted to get some other 1g owners opinions on what holes etc in the engine bay are unnecessary to keep. I was thinking about welding up useless holes and prepin before I go to the trouble to paint. Its a 90 gsx.

I hate when people paint the bay and forget this step. Imo it makes all the difference.

Just a suggestion, but you could mark all the used holes with a paint marker before disassembly. Everything not marked gets plugged. Just a thought.

You can also rivet a plate over it so if you ever use them again they are still there.

Thats an idea that I have not thought of. I may look at that just depends on if im going to go for a super smooth look in the bay. I won't know for sure till I get everything out and bare.
