Sway bar bushings are fairly easy to install. This is a good mod if you are changing out the sway bar end links also. This is not an exact step by step article, but will assist in parts of the install.

Tools Needed:
Hayne's manual
Basic ratchet set
Dremel

Here are the new sway bar bushings and sway bar end links which are not used if you have ball joint style.

Here are new sway bar end links from McQuay-Norris. They are not included in the Energy Suspension Hyperflex Kit. These end links are ball joint style and do not need bushings.

Part 1:
Follow your Hayne's manual for location of your swaybar which is referred to as a Front Stabilizer Bar. I chose to fully remove the sway bar since I was removing the subframe anyways, but it is not necessary. There are two brackets which hold in the bushings and hold up the sway bar. Here is the sway bar fully removed from the vehicle.

Part 2:
Use the prelube to lube up the new bushing. Here is the swaybar with brackets and new bushings.

Part 3:
Hand push each bushing onto the swaybar. Here is a close up of the new bushing wrapped around the swaybar.

Part 4:
During the install you will find that the new bushing makes it difficult to fully clamp down the bracket over it. Some people have used longer bolts to make it work. I chose to widen out the holes with a dremel in the stock bracket, as seen below. Widen the hole just a bit more. If it is widened too much the bolt will go right through, so you will need to use a washer at that point.

Part 5:
Attach the swaybar back on the subframe. If the swaybar has been fully removed make sure that it is positioned correctly when reinstalled. Each end should sit above the control arm and below the drive axle. Here is the new bushing installed.

That's it for the installation. Contact me with any questions.
