Will improper emission removal cause low or high idle. Also after giving up on searching because the servers keep timing out when I search. I was wondering if it is the same to just remove everything connected to the EGR as it is to just remove it and install a blockoff plate.

The emission removal on my neighbor's car is a bit iffy. The "P" vac line splits three times and the boost gauge isn't even hooked up. Weird huh? There are quite a few lines still hooked up under there. Most of them going places I have no clue what they are. The P.O. said he couldn't get the idle to go down. I believe the BISS O-Ring is good still and the timing is correct. But it still idles around 1500.

Has anybody removed all of the egr components on a 92 n/t 4g63? I know this is an old thread but does anyone have a step by step to help out guide me? because my lines are broken where they connect to the thermal sensor nipples. any help would be awesome because i am confused on what to cap off and what to disconnect and if the lines coming out of the charcoal canister can be fully removed without worry

Just like in the link about just hook the Vacuum lines up as shown in one of the three last pics... If you don't have the parts then that part doesn't apply to you...

Just don't route a catch can(if you have one) the way that it's shown in those pics.

Can I loop the lines on the tb or should they be plugged? I could not find enough caps locally. And should I cap off or leave the line open that goes into the charcoal canister that runs along the firewall? Also, should I cap the 3 bungs under the intake manifold?
