I have Prosport electric oil pressure gauge and I have everything wired according to the instructions that came with it but when I turn the key the gauges pegs 120 psi and then comes back to 40 (with the car off). Then when I start it it pegs 120 again and stays there. And also with the aftermarket sending the factory gauge doesnt work at all either even though it has two pegs one for the factory gauge and one for the prosport.

odd i have used prosport oil pressure in the past in my WRX and if it stays pegged at 120 that ment for me my sensor was bad. they are cheap sensor is it a new one or used one? and if it only does a sweap to 40 that means something is wrong because they are designed to do a full start up sweep to test its self

Its brand new. It does its sweep but it only will back down to 40. And that is with the car off. If I start it it goes right back to 120.

You may have the ground and signal wires mixed on the sensor. Try swapping them. Otherwise get a new sensor.
