Eibach Prokits are actually softer than stock!

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

According to Eibach, the spring rates for the Prokit springs for 2ga FWD cars is:

Front
Initial 211 lb/in
Final 319 lb/in

Rear
Initial 114 lb/in
Rear 194 lb/in

If you do the math, the fronts are the same stiffness as stock (no stiffer), and the rear are actually lower.

The springs also lower the car between 1 and 1.5 inches, and generally a lowering without an increase in spring rate is a BAD idea, because it gets too easy to hit your bumpstops.

I highly recommend against these parts based solely on the info given to me by Eibach, posted above.
