review of a cheaper ebay upper and lower intercooler piping kit for stock side mount.

Ok well I decided to go ahead and order an intercooler piping kit finally. I thought I would try to save a couple bucks, as most people believe, including me, that a pipe is a pipe. So I decided to save about 75 bucks and get one from some guy selling them on ebay.
Here is the link from which I purchased it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=020&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=300080027428&rd=1,1

OK so I placed my order in for the full kit in silver. Jumping ahead a little now, about 3 weeks later I asked what was going on with my order, and was told they could not find my order info. So after 3 weeks patiently waiting, they asked for what I wanted again. So about 1 week later I finally get it delivered. It looked nice upon first opening the package. I then touched the piping and my hands got covered in silver spray paint. It was also chipped or rubbed off in multiple places. It does not come with any beaded edges either. I figured I would live with it having a really bad paint job that is going to wear off right away. I start installing the uicp and start having a hard time. On one of the bends the angle was cut completely wrong right before it connects with the bov section. This made it hard to install to say the least. The couplers were pretty small so that also made it harder trying to compensate for the incorrect angle on one of the pipes. It comes with regular hose clamps also so not very good at holding securely. T-bolt ones are on the way for me!
Let me say also looking at the picture of it and then looking at what I got was a joke. It is definitely a home made item. There were metal shavings and badly cut edges. There is no brand name on it like in the picture(doesn't matter to me about that but to some it might)
With a lot of hassling and frustration I finally was able to get it to not have huge open parts between the couplers. It is an extremely tight squeeze to fit it with the bends they give you.
It is now working for me and not leaking at the moment, but for saving a few bucks like I did, I would definitely NOT suggest this to anyone in the market. This product looks like it could be good, but it is a hastily made item, that shows all the signs and outcomes of that.

I know people say you get what you pay for, but with piping you don't usually expect that, or at least I don't and from past experience with ebay I have had mostly great success with non mechanical parts.
And to think for only 150 more I could have just gotten the proven XS Power fmic!!!
DAMN!!!
