Hey I was installing a boost gauge and soon an egt gauge. I started to do the boost gauge and realized I should probably do the egt with it so I can run the hose and wire together into the engine bay. I dont have money for the egt now, so is there anything I can substitute the wire for? If I used speaker wire, can I run a wire into the engine bay from the gauge pod and splice it in later? Or is it a special shielded wire?

Why can't you just thread the EGT wire through later?

exactly, run a piece of wire as a temp/snake. Then when your read for the egt wire, just tape the temp wire to the egt wire and pull it on through.
