EGT Gauge wire hookup?

I have a Greddy 52mm NON-peak hold/warn egt gauge and want to know where the best place is to hook up these wires:

Red => 12 Volt Constant

Orange => 12 Volt ignition

White => 12 Volt Lighting (I think the best place is the cigarette lighter light)

Black => Chassis ground (I will hook this up where I got my Boost gauge light hooked up)


Why does it not list the wire colors for the prob wires. I got a TRE probe and I think the wire colors on that is red and yellow.

Any help would be appreciated.

Worse come to worse buy a greddy probe from www.roadraceengineering.com

did you finish install this yet? I started installing it but havent found the time to finish it yet. where did you tap for the ignition wire(orange)?
I ran the constant power to the battery, the white wire to the cigg. lighter and ground at cigg. lighter also
