Hi all. So I was just wondering what I need to do about my current EGR situation. Right now the hose coming from the EGR looks like it has been cut off and the "T" where that hose is supposed to go is just open, which causes a major air leak. I am aware of the EGR Block Off methods, but I don't know if that is what was attempted here. My question then is do I need to reconnect with a new hose the "T" and the EGR valve or just cap the "T"?

Thanks all and have a good day.

Thanks. Yea I figured it just needed to be connected, but I wasn't sure if it was part of the EGR block off thing or if someone did it intentionally in a negative way because the hose is not even close to long enough to reach where it needs to.

Curiosity...With the hose on the EGR vented to the atmosphere and the T having an open end (the hose is marked with Y in the 2G diagram), how would that affect the car and the way it runs? I did a BLT and there is a huge BL coming out of the T, but what about vacuum? Would there be a vacuum leak there; I can't feel one if I put my finger on it.

Also I meant to ask, would there be a problem with capping the T where the boost leak is?
