egr plate

I might not have looked had enough, but I can't find a egr block off plate. Does anyone know where I can hind one??

Using that school of thought would lead to never making "oober amounts" of power.

Why run a 2.5 exhaust, or 3 inch for that matter? It could be done with a 2 inch, but why?

Or hard intake pipes. They flow. But so do the stock, just not as well.

This is a performance based site isn't it?

except keep that black soot shit out of my manifold Im in the process of blocking the egr and getting rid of all the emissions components, and the egr valve was covered in black crud

Before last years Shootout, we were working on a guy's Galant VR-4, trying to get its idle issues straightened out. While we had the intake manifold off, we looked inside it and noticed it was coated in black gunk, as were the valves. One of the things we did was make a block-off plate. It took maybe all of ten minutes and a piece of sheet aluminum.

Exactly. Why would anyone argue this, it's obviously a gain for a performance targeted car.

It's like running water wetter, 50/50 will work, sure. But water wetter lowers the temps further.
