2.0 liter 9:1 CR 6bolt, GSC S2 Camshafts & Springs, +1mm valves, Kiggly 2 tooth crank trigger,JMF SMIM with s90 74mm throttlebody, FIC 1450 injectors, ecmlink v3, omni 4bar and gm iat speed density. these are the pertinent mods I can think of.
43.5 base fuel pressure,no boost leaks,noexhaust leaks, Ignition timing is set via Kiggly crank trigger, I am simulating O2 with an LC2 wideband in the stock location. In my idle log I have adjusted the deadtime and VE table so I am at 24gms per rev and the fuel trims seem ok for setting up the base idle, once I ground the timing pin the engine wants to die so I have not been successful on even remotely setting a stable idle.
These are my most recent logs. I am new to this and have watched all of ecmlinks videos and Scott Laird's as well, I started with inputing injector voltage based on the data I received from FIC with my purchase and did some interpolation at the voltages that were not listed by cross referencing different evo forums that have latency values etc.. I started with global fuel setting of -69.1 and 0 deadtime initially and gradually added 50 each time it would not start until it ran by itself and ended up around 285 I think. Once up to temp I bounced back and forth between deadtime and the VE table making adjustments to get the airflow gms per sec in the 24-26 range and once the fuel trims were what I thought were reasonable I then attempted to ground the timing pin to adjust the idle screw but this would cause the engine to run poorly and want to stall at times, I could not get the ISC to budge from 120-. I verified the wiring is correct as I am running the newer style ISC on a 90 ecu. so it was not working backwards. Any help would be appreciated.
