I just got a 90 talon that i plan on using for a shell. i have a running 91 eclipse gsx 5 speed turbo. if i swap everthing from the eclipse over to the talon will the ecu out of my eclipose work? the ecu is going from a 91 eclipse gsx 5 speed awd to a 90 talon 5 speed awd.

There's everything you should need to know. I use to know the differences off the top of my head, but I finally got rid of my 90 and all of its complications.

If you are swapping EVERTHING, I would assume you are going to be using the 91 harness, gauges, and such. The 91 ECU will work. If you use the 90 harness, you will have to switch a few wires around, but you can still use it. If you are doing a full swap, I would take the 91 harness and do a wire tuck while you have it out. That would be my choice If I were doing it.

okay, thanks for your help! and yes i probabally will do the wire tuck. the 91 gsx is running and all functioanl. its what i have my built motor in, i plan on swapping everything over. motor trans, driveline, all that good stuff. so i assume if i use every thing i wont have to re-wire anything. again, thanks for your help! it is much apreciated!
