Does anyone know of a harness the you could plug into the ECU then plug the other end into the chassis harness so you DO NOT have to hack apart the OEM Harness to add in loggers, AFCs, Standalones etc. ?

If not, does anyone know what the connector part numbers are or where I might try to look for them to fab up something myself ?

Thanks,

Dave

I saw exactly what you're talking about on a vendors site yesterday. I can't remember whose site though, I'm only posting to let you know to keep looking because someone does indeed make a jumper harness for dsms. I do remember I thought they were a bit pricey but it might be worth it to someone else.

Generally speaking, a friction connector will never achieve the same resistance as a good solder and shrinkwrap connection. It's not easy, but if you do it right, taking the time to correctly solder a harness will prevent other issues down the road. Electrical problems are always difficult to deal with, this just makes it slightly less likely that you will have to.

Matt.

I was looking for this myself at one point, but could not find one for a 1g. (there are some for the 2g)

I ended up soldering my connections, which is probably alot easier than trying to fab something up.
