buy one of those performance chips off ebay! +25HP!! Maybe if you get like 4 of them you get +100HP!!

And of course a dick head has to respond. He wasn't talking about chips.

Programming your ECU really won't gain you anything unless your are turbo/supercharged.

Ouch... a little harsh. John was only doing his duty as a non-retarded member of this site

Dick head? here, just to show you how stupid you are.

The AFX ECU is a reprogramed ECU. What it does is adjust your fuel curve a little richer and advances your timing. Getting one will help you a lot if your NA. Putting one on a boosted car is bad news. I'm sure you could find somebody who will rewrite your ECU, but they will probably charge a lot, and maybe mess it up. AFX has experience with our cars, so you don't have to worry.

I know Howell's website says its only for the 97, but I just learned recently that it does work on 98 and 99's as well. You could ask around to see if it works for your year if you don't have a 97-99.

Thanks Chris. :thumb:

Snoop you were doing good for a while there but (and I only add this to be sure that those who read it don't get ideas) I believe the AFX LEANS out the mixture. I sure hope so because I am getting one and I can't take the rich mixture that I have right now with the 60 mm and the retarded exhaust cam. I suspect just a mistatement

hmm... I could be wrong. I'm having a very very very bad day... so sorry I blew up, but Doug, before you start calling names... know who your cussing at. I've been here a long time, and I'm not a newbie at this.
