hello all! well i am having some difficulties with my car. Recently i just replaced the capacitors on my ecu. The job went smooth and clean so i figured i should have no problems. Anyway i replaced the ECU back in the car and now my car wont start at all. It cranks and cranks but nothing happens but floods it since i can smell gas. i have no idea what to do now. i have to go back to school on friday and i have no ride. please help! i was not having this problem before i replaced the capacitors so im clueless. thanks all!

Did you replace the capacitors yourself or did you have it done somewhere?

I would pull the ECU back out of the car and make sure that you didn't overheat one of the pads, or cause a short between the solder pad and another lead.... Too much heat can cause the solder pad to lift from the board and no longer make a connection.

Definitely shoot Steve a PM once you have a look at that ECU. He's got a billion satisfied customers here on DSMTuners and elsewhere.
