I was told by the shop my car is at that my ECU is bad. I lost power to my Diag port, and most interior lights and signals. I let my car sit for a month and a half, and one day went to start it up, charged the battery and noticed all the problems I listed above. The shop said the ECU was caroaded, I priced some new ECU's but there stock and I need my DSMLink. Is there any chance I have any other options rather than purchasing a brand new ECU, and still keep my DSMLink?

Yea, ecm tuning should be able to fix it, if not you can purchase an eprom ecu off of the classifieds and plug in your dsm link chip. Make sure its socketed.
