possible ecu and iac problem

I have a 1995 esclipse rs and most of the time she runs great but every other morning ill start her up and the motor will die instantly, also while im driving it will buck and the cel will flash ones and it will pick right back up. And the other thing is sitting at a light it will randomly shut off. Can anyone help this is driven me insane...

You might help us - help you - faster if you can list all of the basic things you checked already.

DSMs use two Idle Air Control (IAC) modules to help regulate the mixture when the engine is cold or idling. These are famous for failing and make your idle lumpy, or just plain impossible.

Check all of your basic systems, and if you still can't find a cause, and it is not covered in the FAQ section of this forum, hit us up again.

Have you verified that you don't have any vacuum leaks?

My old beater car had similar symptoms, and the problem ended up being a hole in one of the vacuum lines.
