Does anyone know of a source, or the original manufacturer, for the connectors that plug into 1g DSM ECU?
I want to make an extension harness to locate my AEM under the seat in my '92 VR4, since it will not fit in the original ECU location. The plug connectors C10, C11 and C12 I can get from a junked car wire harness.
The tricky part is I would like to get the receptacle part from the connector original equipment manufacturer, as an intermediate connector receptacle, vs the PC board receptacle on the ECU. If they don't exist, then I can just order the PC board version.
A non-starter option is to de-solder the receptacle from an ECU, as wrecking yards don't want to part with even a trashed ECU for less than a couple hundred dollars.
Worst option is to make 104 solder connections / shrink tubing installs, one at a time wedged into the passenger side of the car to extend the stock connectors.
