I purchased a '90 EPROM ECU for my '93 AWD. I know I need to switch wires #6 & #14. The '90 has both resistor #129 and #130. I believe when the #130. is present it came from a FWD model and I have an AWD. I have read to clip #130 and move it to the side. I paid a bit for this ECU and do not want to mess it up. Anyone know for sure?
What if I don't clip it, what would happen? Mark

I think FWD and AWD ECUs have minorly differnt fuel mappings. I didn't think there was any modification to be done other than the pin swap you already know about for the 90 to 91-94 swap. I know about a resistor thing for Fed and California smog regulation differences. someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You are correct. Keydiver now does a Fed/AWD override makin any ECU act like an AWD-Fed ECU. He said to leave the resistors alone. thanks, mark
