I have a 94 eclipse gs n/t that I just completed a turbo engine swap into. The ecu I have is from a 91' talon tsi awd a/t car. Same with the engine but Have found out the engine was swapped in that and the engine was from a manual car. Has 450 cc inj. , 14b turbo and man. cams. Will I net any gans by switching from the fed a/t ecu to a Fed m/t ecu. Also will it cause any problems with the car considering it has a n/t a/t trans. I know a few lines run from the ecu to the tcu. I don't want to swap to a manual tranny. I am really liking this tranny right now. Sorry to drag this out a bit but wanted to give full details.

without the manual ecu the car is going run rich as hell because of the 450cc injectors being in place of the 370cc injectors that the ecu thinks are in there. without either swapping to a manual ecu or buy installing a piggyback unit you're car is going to run like crap.

Actually the car runs pretty decent. It has got good pull and all. I was thinking maybe it would be the oposite. That it would run way lean because the ecu was set for the 390cc inj. and the 13g and smaller cams.
