Right now i own a 97 Eclipse RS. Now, i am 17, and am going to college soon... I need help on a decision. Should i wait until Senior year to sell my RS and Hopefully get a GST or GSX (that i would keep through college), or should i keep my RS and turbo it.
I see online people are selling their turbo eclipses w/285 horsepower and such, for like 8 grand, and im thinking whether its worth it to attempt to turbo the eclipse but achieve way less horsepower than i would w/a turbo....
The deal is, is senior year, my parents will give me 9K. And if i sell my eclipse, which is http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/774585 then i could have around 14-16 grand to spend on a GSX that i would drive year round. Or should i keep the eclipse and mod it with about 5 of the 9 grand and have the rest for college. I've been thinking about this for ever, and i need some help...
Im looking for around 250-300hp, that i could drive year round....
another ?, i live in michigan, it snows obviously alot here during winter, and i would have the eclipse to drive year round, could i have a body kit on the eclipse and still be safe for it not to be ruined in the winter? also lowering springs? i need help, plz help me out
thankx

. if you want power get a 92-94 eclipse gsx its cheap and you can get BIG power out of it. the 1st gens gsx and gst are better engines then the 2nd gens. larger intake ports, better pistons, larger rods. you cant go wrong.
, Also hows he's supposed to be big man on campus, withoutt he sexy 2G
evindently you didnt fully understand the ??. he's asking for more bang for his buck. the 1st gens MAY not be the sexiest thing in the world but they got more power potentail stock then the 2nd gen. larger everything. not to mention stronger. 2gn are famous for the crank walk. oh he would be big man on campus buy handing the other guy their ass. if the guy cant get laid in college. the 2gen sure wont help anyways. if you see a first gen still around and going that tells me that the things are like a timexx.
