ECLIPSE HYPER BLINK ISSUE! Turn signal help

My 1995 eclipse gst hyperblinks on the passenger side. The first time it did it because the rear bulb. After about a month it did it again. About a week later the same thing. Now even with a new bulb it hyperblinks!! I have LED turn signals up front with load resistors( no splices), which worked fine while it was working. I'm assuming its going to ground somewhere because when driving at night the turn signal cluster light flickers. Also, when the turn signal is on the rear lights sort of alternate, and the middle one is a little dimmer then the other one (it did the same thing the first time the bulb went bad. I WANT THIS HYPER BLINK TO STOP!! Any ideas would be helpful, I tried wiggling the wires but nothing changed and I'm not the greatest with wiring so I don't know what to do!?! Someone PLEASE help!

I also have LED reverse lights that are dim now. Like I said, everything was working for a while so I don't know what's wrong!! Please help. I've added a picture of the tail light blinking on hyper blink.

sounds like a bad connection in the plug, mine did thaat for a while, i replaced the plug from one at the jy and viola! no more "hyperblinkng"

Well I saw on another article to take it apart and clean it but only the outside light plug split in two pieces. I'll try to find some new plugs for the other lights and see what happens!

Check out every bit of wiring that was modified. The problem is 90% the time the modification itself.

Also try swapping everything back to stock and see what happens.

I had a problem too and I just took the socket and cut off about 1/2" of the ground wire and stripped back the insulation to get better contact. Mine had corrosion though.

So it sounds likes its probably the socket/plug. Can I get one at autozone or oreillys or do I have to order one? Anyone have a part #? Thanks for the input!

Just check the current socket and see you can make the ground make better contact. I didn't see any at the auto parts stores though, they only seem to carry domestic car stuff.

This. Mine used to do this and it was an issue with the socket. Wiggled the wires and it quit.

Ok I'll try that in the morning and order some new plugs anyways, they just I clip don't they? But does anyone know why my reverse lights are dull now also? They were good for a while too but now they just come on really dull and flicker a little. This stuff is driving my crazy! I just want perfect lighting! Lol

Well I had already tried wiggling the wires 3 times, I took the plug out and pushed all the wires in like you guys said and guess what? It's blinking normal again!! Thanks for the help!

Mine did this when i took out a bulb i no longer wanted, the issue you might have is the low load resisters, there only needed for newer style cars that use the dash to twll you if a bulb is out, have you tried normal led's to rule that out as i think you will find it will work better without the load resister in place

I had this issue with mine about a year ago, ended up being the plug just as other have mentioned. When I would move the wires around it would blink normal for a while and then start acting up again. I ended up just getting a new plug/taillight harness from a junkyard and it solved the issue completely.
