So they requested me to be more especific, so there ya go. The car was scanned and gave error codes on the ecu and the coolant sensor, all of the other sensors are working, gotta check the thermostat still, but crank sensor, cam sensor and ignition coil are ok, I've replaced 5 ecus and none of them sent spark to the ignition, a neon 97 ecu did send spark but the car didn't start, my dad uncle told him it sounded like it was off time on the ignition, the ecu also made a beep sound but it was almost unhearable, please help, thanks in advance:D

by the way , the coolant sensor has always been disconnected so the fans were always on

I had a problem with my coolant sensor once accidentally cut the wires
Car wouldn't crank until I replaced and plugged in my coolant sensor..it's actually very important I'd suggest getting to that first since ## having overheating problems to properly monitor engine heat/temp

Check your wiring harness around the throttle body in the early years of production 95/96 the factory ran the wiring harness to close to the Egr pipe. Usually fries the harness. The wiring to the coil pack usually goes first. Also check the harness going to crank sensor. Also the early years would not aways set a code for the engine temp sensor the one at water neck. The one the ecu reads.

+1.

I had the same problem on my 96 Rs (Nov 95) and didnt realize how bad everything was melted until I pulled the motor for a rebuild.
