Eclipse 3G

Anyone on here have some clean pics of their 2002 3G? I'm thinking about getting one or a 1997 eclipse. I like both styles just wanna get everyone's preference and see how a lot of them turned out. Thanks

3g just no. Get a clean 2g gst or gsx. Your non turbo 2g didn't have any power and neither will a 3g.

Ehhhh.. It will have power if I build it up and maintain it.. I was looking at a 2g and I've had one but I'll go look at the 3G and see how Nice it is.

I think you need a HONDA!!!!!! Body kits and now comparing the 3g to a 2g!! Google 3g vs 2g even on club3g they say the 2g is better.

If you don't want to listen to advice on 4g63s go to club 3g or a Honda site. You will be happier with the respones.

3G eclipses can be good looking cars in my opinion. But they will never be fast. If you want to go fast get a 4g63T DSM or you're just wasting your time/money. Also, 3G eclipses are pretty common which decreases the head turning factor. A clean 2g on the other hand...

Yeah I had a 96 eclipse RS. The 420a is weak though. I want a 97 eclipse there just isn't much around in decent condition or not few miles. I'm thinking of buying a 3G and making it look nice as the pics I posted, buying a 97 later and building it. Thanks for your suggestion

IMHO, 3gs look dated. Something about 2gs are timeless. How many other cars from 95-99 still look as good as a 2g? I didn't read your profile, but if you only ever owned a 420a you haven't even lived yet. A world of difference. I owned 3 420s before I upgraded and now I will never own another car. Not to mention, they're so affordable now it's ridiculous. Just have patience and it will pay off. Also, you can't get too upset for asking about a 3g on a forum dedicated to DSMs
And furthermore, I know this isn't DSM talk where every post turns into a bitching match, but there will never, ever, ever be a 3g that looks anywhere as good as a 2gb talon.

Opinions can't be wrong.

I know someone with a 3g and have wrenched on it a lot, I would for sure pick a 1g or 2g over it. But yeah this is the wrong forum to be asking this because everyone here will say that a DSM is better than a 3g.

Looks wise I prefer a 2G but I can see how someone could like a 3G. I personally think some 3Gs with a body kit, not an overly ricey one, looks better than my car. It doesn't really matter what others think it'll be your car to enjoy. I agree though this is the wrong place to ask because 99% of people here will say 2G and I bet most people on the 3G forum would say the 3G looks better. Just get what you think will look better and what you can afford.

Why not 1G? Give a turbo DSM a chance before you go to 3G. You will regret doing that. Buuuut it's all personal preference. As long as what you have makes you happy then there is no wrong choice

+1 to all answers. It all blows down to personal preference, but deff don't come looking here for 3g love aint gonna happen . But like PlanZero stated the 3g look dated. You don't ever hear about an amazing looking 3g over a 2g. And even a clean looking 1g gets more love. But hey it all comes down to what you wanna get. Just don't get upset with what guys are saying in there reply here because that's expected. Its pretty much a war 2g vs 3g
