3g Eclipse with 2g GSX Spoiler

Just curious but what does everyone think about the 2g GSX Spoiler on a 3g eclipse? No I do not plan on doing this because I do not own a 3g, just want everyone's opinion.
I've seen a few pics online but never seen one in person. Here's a pic I found on another forum:

The neighbor of my friend has a 3g with the 2gb wing and i personally do not like the way it looks, just doesn't flow with the car.
To each it's own.

I didn't think it looked too good either. the 3g has more of a rec-tangled back end compared to the 2g which is more round.

3g's are ugly no matter what you put on them, there could be 15 naked jessica albas on it and it would still be ugly as fug.

The 2g whale wing has also been spotted on a few mercury cougars.

I actually did see it on a cougar. (should have taken a pic) Is it True or False that some cougars came with the wing from the factory?

It doesn't flow. The 3G is a boxy, sharp edged looking car and the 2g has curves and rounded edges. So, mixing the 2 doesn't work for me.

my neighbor has a white 3g with a black top and a knock off 2gb spoiler i dont like it... friends pull in and think that his car is mine

hes a cool guy though, and knows his car is slow when i told him i ran a 13.6 he was like id be the fast 3g in socal if i ran a 13.6 . he hangs out with socal 3g

I think it's okay. And O.P., stop calling it a "GSX spoiler". Amazing as it sounds, the 2GB GS-T's have it, too! And so do the N/A '99 GS O.Z. editions. That's going to make you lose sleep at night.

I'm kinda' digging the 2G spoiler on the 3G. I don't much care for the 3G, but it's not bad looking IMHO.

I think most of the comments are silly but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I personally don't think it looks bad on the car, it's just that the 3G itself is ugly.

Aswell as certain model/package cougars. Have 6 of them sitting in the basement of my shop, Just because so many people apparently want their car to look like a "turbo car".


While you are at it, You could always just bolt up the entire turbo setup from a 90-99 turbo dsm aswell, To the 4g64 4cyl 3g car. Being, The ex mani ETC all bolt directly up...

To the OP a DSM wing on a 3g looks like garbage.

It doesn't look bad at all. I understand where everyone says it doesn't flow with the car 'cause the 3G's all angular and what not, but still looks pretty good.
