I have searched and found different answers. I have an avcr on my 2g and would like to make sure I have the vac lines correct. I have a greddy style bov routed to the stock location and on the electronic boost control solenoid the no port is to the nipple on my t25. The com port is to the wastegate actuator. Is this correct? I did not have uncontrolled boost with the stock bov, or at least I dont think so. Since I installed the greddy style bov and my aluminum intercoller pipes I have seen my boost spike beyond what I have the ebc set at. Do I just now need to readjust my ebc settings now? Also, my boost gauge is broken right now so I am going by the reading on the avcr. Thanks for any help.:talon:

Where did you hook up the boost pressure sensor? (this is the round unit with the in lne filter attached)

Did you plug the intake lines that are now used by the AVCR?

What are your settings on your controller?

boost pressure sensor is teed to the fuel pressure solenoid, the left side when facing the car. not sure what you are saying about the intake lines being plugged that the avcr is using. settings have been changed a lot but basically it is at .90 boost, 20% duty, start duty is like -15 on all. thanks for any help.

The line I mentioned is the vacuum line off the intake going to the stock boost conrtrole.

How high does it spike to?

I noticed that when I ran my T25 It would tend to spike quite a lot. Now with my 16G it will spike only just slightly.

If I am converting the reading on the avcr correctly then I would say it is going from about 12 to 17-18 psi. If it is the t-25 then maybe when I get rid of it I will see a change. It is about on its last leg. It was on the car and I was told it was original and the car had 174000 miles. I am ready to change it. Here is my engine bay. It may be hard to see where everything is. I assume that what I said about how the lines are run is correct? The pressure sensor is on the firewall behind the throtlle body and the filter runs to the right to the fps. The bcs is beside the air filter and the lines run straight to the turbo. The bov I am sure you can see and do you see the place on the intake that should be plugged. I may have over looked it as I dont remember where everything was hooked up to. Thanks for the help.

Try to get the pressure sensor closer to the vacuum source, it is recommend that you keep the the sensor and lines in a 90 degree angle.

Do you have any boost leaks?

All your other lines seem to be fine, have a play with the AVCR a little but more maybe run less start duty.

Have not done a boost leak test. Where do you think is the best place to hook up to do the test? I will redo the pressure sensor and try to move it closer. As for being at a 90 degree angle, I was aware of that and I know mine is just slightly off of 90 degrees. Thanks for the help and I will post back what I find on the boost leak.
