My friend recently bought a turbo kit from XS-power which came with a t3-t4 turbo that reads AR 50 at the bottom, does that mean it is a fifty trim or am I just to much of a newbie. He bought the kit for his honda prelude but is not going to install it do to lack of funds. I am considering buying the kit and just selling everything that doesn't work for my dsm. Does anyone know if I will have problems putting this turbo on my car? I understand that XS power is not the best of quality but has anyone tried this on their car? I would love to have a full Garrett but the money just isn't there at least not for a couple of years so I figured If I didn't try to push the turbo real hard maybe a goal of 290 or 300 horsepower could be realistic. Well any opinions on why not to buy this kit or any opinions at all will be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!! Thanks
P.S. He only wants 400.00 for it he paid 800.00 less then two months ago and it has never even been taken out of the box(he does oh me favor though)

also save your money buy a 16g big 16 or evo3 turbo.. stay away from the evo3gt.. Im in the market for buying a new turbo and ive been reading forums as well and ive heard nothing but good about the big 16g or evo3. When it comes 2 turbos you get what you pay for. go with somthing like from extremepsi.com or turbochargers.com or slowboyracing.com as they offer good warranty and peace of mind that your getting a true product.. after all its the turbo that makes the cars.. just my .02cents...
