Ebay Turbo Intake Kit

So, I recently purchased an Intake for my 96 GST off of Ebay. It was $43 shipped. Basically it is a knock off brand. It had the hookups for all your lines and BOV. I thought that for $43, I could not really be losing anything.

I got the kit last night, took 5 days from Cali to Tenn. The kit is not bad. There is an extra piece that I guess is for an even larger clamp on filter. The piping seems to be just like the Dejon Pipes. The two problems that I did have was installing the coupler over the MAF Sensor and Hard Pipe for the intake. It was an ex-girlfriend of a time getting it on. I had to reuse the factory clamp that attaches the rubber piping to the MAF on the stock Unit. Also, the four bolts that attach the MAF Sensor to the filter adapter had to be purchased seperate. The factory bolts that attach the MAF Sensor to the airbox do not work because of their shape and the kit did not come with any. It did come with about four extra clamps.

End result, you can really hear the turbo spool and the BOV echo off the pipe. It seems like throttle response is crisper. For the money you save over a name brand, you just cannot go wrong. I will update if I have any problems. Feel free to ask any questions.

I cannot tell you the exact size, I did not measure it and no info was given on Ebay as to that. I can tell you that the ID seems like a perfect or near it match to the inlet for the T25. I understood that it would probably not be the quality or perfect fitment as say the Injen or Dejon Kit. But, as i said it works and seems well worth the $43. I needed something quick since the tabs were broke on the factory airbox. Money is kinda thin as I also have the Mustang to build, plus lots of bills, and school again soon. I figured since this will never be a track car, some parts are able to be knock offs. That being said about not being a track car, I knew that I needed something fun as a DD.

Side note, saw a clean Skyline GTR R33 on a trailer on I24 NW of Nashville yesterday.
